Too true mate; I was in a group of 3 for the specific assement I was thinking. One lass was a part timer on a different course (that included the module lecture we were in) She lived it London and because she was a part timer she was only in 1 day week and that day was full. The other lad....well lets just say he arrived by bus. A big yellow bus which he claimed had the nicest tasting windows ever. Lost cause mate. the thing was he tried. So i thought about a peer assement and spoke to my tutor about it and it wasnt that he wasn't co-operating or wasn't doing the work, It was just the fact he was thick as f**k. Lost cause mate, quit now, get to McDonalds. They even get you B.Tecs nowadays.... | | |

I know a number of current students who are understandably worried if they will get a job at the end of the course and are worried they are wasting time. I know graduates who are struggling to find work and most of the work they are finding isn't graduate level.
And part of the reason that is happening imo is because to an extend degrees are losing their value simply because of the amount of people who are now educated to degree level, its not as "special" as it once was. | | | |

Lets not carry this discussion on all night, I have an assigment to do through the night in the library which will probably last me till around mid-day tommorrow, due to me grafting all weekend as mummy and daddy only put a roof over my head, and don't give me a wad of cash each month to piiss away in nightclubs
