Who do you all fancy to win and who do you want to win.


Rovers both for me, much better side on paper/form, and implementing the traditional cheer for the Yorkshire team first rule, and i work with a few HKR fans.

HKR to win, not bothered at all who actually does though. Just hoping for a decent, competitive game. 

The women's final was a non event, Wigan far too good. 


On the BBC coverage, it's dreadful, both commentary / post match on the women's game and the pre amble so far to the men's. It's tired, clichéd and borderline rank amateur at times.

Wembley half full, why cant the CC get a crowd, swapping and changing time if year its played has damaged its appeal

The CC is an enigma. The powers that be don't seem to know what its place is. Flip flopping around in terms of format and place in the calendar, and the chosen broadcaster putting games online only rather than tv isn't exactly boosting its profile.

It's a very decent game so far. 

Well that was dire, was there a single clean break in the whole game. 
2 tries one a lucky deflection the other from an error.

1st half better than the 2nd, Wire had the game won. Plenty of sets towards the end, loads of tackles in Rovers 20, no finish. It's all very well applying pressure but at some stage it has to be converted into points. 

Posted on the other thread that I enjoyed both the mens games and hats off to the referees in those games.
Defences on top in both games and Wire unlucky not to come away with the spoils similar to Fev.

On the plus side for Josh Thewliss….at least he won’t have needed a shower after the game.

Decent game. Pleasingly we can give either of them teams a run for their money if we meet them at the business end.
