After he confirmed that he is leaving the Airlie Birds at the end of the season (play-offs) I understand that we have signed Tom Briscoe on a five year deal from 2014.

I know that GH said back in the summer that we wouldn't be signing him, but I understand that we have secured his signature.

Might be some interesting team selections in the backs at the start of next season!

So the rumours of BJB going to Warrington could be true?

BJB on his way to Warrington was the rumour. Fans on their board saying he would be the eventual replacement for Hodgson with Ratchford replacing Lee Briers when he retires. Mixed feelings if it's true - BJB and Briscoe are pretty even really, though a year ago I would have said Briscoe.

A backline of Hardaker, Briscoe, Watkins, Moon, Hall looks pretty good though doesn't it?!

A winger isn't exactly a priority. Our backline is fine as it is. One of the best in the league. So it begs the question, is someone leaving, and if so why are we allowing them to leave? Everyone is under contract.

He'd be superfluous to the current squad unless someone's leaving, but who? Unless it's BM's new plan for hooker.

Let's face it, ANY player in our backline would be an attractive proposition for another SL club. Hall, Watkins and possibly Moon and Hardaker might interest the NRL or Union as well.

Hampshire seems to be very highly rated and they are signing Bowen too.
