Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Clarke is right on being able to stage 7 games because of the roof. That said as a showpiece you wouldnt choose to do it at this time, opening weekend or not. Reasons?

6 nations week so not going to get the same exposure.
Amended rules which players and refs have to get used to.
Keep it as a May weekend but find a way to promote it so the stadium is full at some point during the day!
