Potentially silly move by the club depending on who this is, as knowing our fans, I'm sure they'll want blood if by star the mean anyone other than Billy Slater.



Wouldn't be suprised if it wasn't Keith Senior or someone like that, as I can't think of many other OOC players available who could be deemed 'stars.'

Reckon it'll be Rob Purdham, would be happy with that.

If it is Keef Senior, that's me finished with this club. The only way he should be mentioned in the same sentence as the word "star", was when he left BJ Mather seeing them at the Wheldon Road end in that infamous match.

Rangi is apparently in no rush to sign an extension. Although some reports suggest he's already signed

Him or Heighington will really fit the billing.

Would prefer that to senior, obviously he has issues, but he still can be a good player if we can sort him out, senior was poor this year, after a major injury and another year older he will only get worse.

Journos reckon its someone most clubs would want and he is a pretty special signing

Will we though he 36 next season and just come back from a major injury.

Even then i think i would prefer him on the treatment table, he has become a turnstyle in defence and gives away too many stupid penalties.
