I work outside the W Yorks area, and am constantly being told by neutrels, with no axe to grind against Cas or Goldie....that he's a constant liability and they wouldn't pay him in washers.

My favourite was a post I put about the numbers just simply not adding up at either Quins or Crusaders

I was shot down in flames by all those saying how well the game was spreading in these areas, and that I knew nothing etc etc....with the classic 'decoy' line ....'Local game for local people'.........Did you agree with that post at the time, by any chance?
Sadly on here there are very few, who after expressing an outright contrary opinion who return later and say....'sorry mate, I didn't believe you at the time but it looks like you were bang on the money!'

This is an opinion board and you often state your opinions as facts, often trying to belittle anyone who disagrees with you as part of the 'rose tinted specs' brigade. Your opinions are nothing more than knee-jerk reactions with a failure to look at the long term picture.
As for the Quins/Crusaders argument, what are your proposals for the expansion of the game? Or shall we still keep it as a kitsch northern sport with very little media profile? |
