Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Some elements of the new site are unfinished, such as; page numbering and quotations. We will fix these minor issues as soon as we can, please bear with us. Arundel looked quality, really hope he gets a full season of first team action under his belt, I reckon he has potential to be far superior then Shenton.
Quote="smoking monkey"Eden's only real mistake was his first touch of the ball trying to take that wickedly bouncing kick at full pace but that was typical of the confidence he showed throughout the rest of the game and none of it was misplaced...looked a very decent prospect.
Thought Thompson had an absolute stormer, cutting through at will (as did Arundel who also used his winger well) and defending as we know he can.
Walker just sucked the juice out of the defence - don't think he ever surrendered to less than a 3 man tackle - and Davies put in a really good stint.
Credit to Rangi for an unselfish 60 mins and to Danny Orr for half a game of consumate string-pulling.
Last word however must go to Daz Clarke who just looked so comfortable/competent in everything he did and what a try....Sam Tomkins would have been proud of it.
Onwards and upwards to Batley who I suspect will provide a sterner test by which we can guage our youngsters'
">potential.'"
Exactly my thoughts. The second 40 mins was a pleasure to watch.
