 and the large number of players currently in the Tigers youth set up from 16s all the way to 20s, some top talent in them and the numbers of HOME GROWN players in the current squad is just rewards for the great effort the youth coaches put in.
Next season, there will be at least 12 club trained players in the first team squad: Thompson, Owen, Arundal, Orr, Huby, Milner, Walker, Westerman, Harris, Holmes, Davies, [size=150Brierley[/size - all but 3 of these have played for Cas this year, 1 has played for another SL club, Shenton is another Cas trained player who has been in the first team all year and now is England's first choice left centre.
If Massey stays that's 13 and if the rumour of Oliver Elima is also true, 14 players of the squad would have been brought through the Tigers system.
If Evans is released (which he should be, imo) the club would only have: Chase, McGoldrick & Widders as overseas players next year, if the Andrew Ryan rumour is false.
Well done to the club, something we should all be proud of and long may it continue.

| As much as i think Elima is a good player, and has improved significantly since he left Cas, i hope we dont bring him back, he was the main instigator in inciting crowd trouble when the Cas fans threw the bottles onto the pitch when we played Catalans at home, his attitude was a joke, and i just dont like the guy.
