Fully, I agree about some fans getting on board with the ground-share idea (I am convinced this is the only way forward). In my case, and that of many others I suspect, it is not because we have "finally faced up to the inevitable", but more because we are just now learning facts about the Wakefield side of things which we were until now lead to believe were all sorted out (funding, for example, which is categorically NOT finalised). The statement by Box simply puts the edge on it - Newmarket cannot compete with Glasshoughton in a feasibility study, which in my opinion is not even required, and is simply to put a veneer of "fairness" on the process (not that I think it is remotely unfair).

I wholeheartedly agree. Waste of money if you ask me. Go down every aspect for a new stadium and GH ticks every box. Location, jobs, potential sponsorship, fanbase opportunities. Everything. | | |
