Back to Penky. I am not taking side on the ongoing debate but I do not think Penky has signed anything at Leigh. That's not to say he hasn't told Leigh he will go, but, why would he want to announce he is leaving to a team we may play next week. As soon as either us or Leigh are out, Penky will announce.
Lets not forget, [size=150only weeks ago we were told that Sam was going elsewhere and that his sponsor knew[/size. Didn't happen and talking to a director we are still hopeful Penky will stay.

Leigh fans talk of Penky signing for them, oh hang on a minute.....
Well, there you have it folks a sticky end to Penky's second spell with Halifax RLFC, a career we ought to be celebrating, I for one think he's a Fax hall of famer in years to come.
I'm disappointed for all concerned that it ended this way, I myself was told over three weeks ago that he was off for definate, we'll all believe what we like. I just hope we can send him and Gannon away with winners medals in the GF. Go for it now boys.
