I never get the spelling debate. The odd spelling mistake will not stop someone getting their points across and it always seems pretty low when people try to pick holes like that to try and win brownie points or appear smart. Probably have small cocks as well.

Yep - see where you're coming from. Will be interesting to see what happens when (if!!) Leigh lose a few next year. How the players gel and if players like Sam are prepared to do the hard yards if things get tough. Leigh have had an amazing season - certainly stolen thunder from other clubs.

Those watching week in week out have seen Sam have a great season here at Leigh, he was also one of the best forwards on the paddock against Leeds. Sam, as you know also, has all the skills needed to be a great SL player but the extra 1-2% that turns this potential into reality has been missing so far in his career imo, he seems to have found that with us and in a FT environment the club believes he is the forward to build our future around - a five year contract is almost unheard of in RL let alone our level.

I am very excited about next season already, we have a young ambitious squad who have moved to FT - no wholesale changes and no culture risk unlike 2005

And to be fair if it's not us then hopefully it will be you, I think we all would like to see one of this years Champ clubs go up, it'd really sack off the SL lot, though they'd then just say what a brilliant idea P&R is.

At the end of the 2003 season I put a plan to the Leigh board suggesting the only way of getting into SL and STAYING THERE was to put together a full time squad comprising mainly young ambitious players on 2/3 year contracts with guaranteed extensions, I was told it would never work, HKR did something very similar in 2006



Despite not seeing Sam as much as most Leigh fans he still seems to posses a flaw ( IMO ) in his character that sees him throwing swinging arms and stupid niggles ,I doubt full time will change that, only Sam himself can change that, if of course the coaching staff actually want him to change



Richard Moore was faced with a grow up or ship out moment, he took the right path and has had a SL carreer as a result
