Why do you think the company has "applied" to be struck off - isn't this a compulsory strike-off action which is directly related to the late filing, and it's no coincidence that the accounts and confirmation statement were filed the same day? This doesn't seem that unusual amongst rugby league clubs, for instance Batley appeared to have done it about 10 years in a row. https://find-and-update.company-informa ... ory?page=1

Maybe so, Phantom, but it's so shoddy. Isn't it? Can't even file simple stuff on time when they have months to do it. OK, I think the fine is only about 400 quid but what an unnecessary waste of a couple of season ticket sales, eh?
