The present incumbent will be having a hard job living up to the Kear effect. You just never got the feel yesterday that they had a game plan particularly close to our line . Something must have been up with manning yesterday because he only played for 30 mins and we all know on song you could leave him out there until the sun set. Smeatons defence on his outside let him down again yesterday . Will he ever learn to edge outwards and not cut in like he kept doing when he played for us. Thought a good coach could really make something out of Farrell.( junior) Who has speed and power but direction and passing ability is wayward. He could be very effective in an outside channel. Not suggesting we get him though. We have enough cover there.'"
