As someone who has volunteered regular ongoing help on more than one occasion, I reserve the right to have an opinion. Have I been taken up on the offer of my services? The answer is no.



I lead a very busy life but am still wanting to give something back to my club that I have supported for thirty years.

They're still at The Hive (Barnet's Ground) which is £25 entry and although you can buy beer in the ground, I don't believe there is much in way of bars etc nearby. You maybe better off booking digs elsewhere and jumping on tube to ground.

Drive to the Travelodge Heston M4, West bound or East bound, currently £32 a night. Osterley tube is 10 mins drive or taxi, car park about £3 a day at weekend, right on the Piccadilly line, last tube back very late.

Yates or Wetherspoon in Leicester Square, tube on Piccadilly line.

HJ. We have stopped at Heston a few times. Good for Hammersmith and into the smoke, but not the best for Barnet surely? £25 in from a previous poster is surely wrong? Shrewsbury Hotel Guinness? Mmmmmmm! Off to bed.
