Cant believe im going to say this but i partially agree with TF2. Obviously i wasnt his biggest fan but 2 GF`s and a NRC Final isnt bad. I thought his signings this season were poor and our poor start and how the season really showed this but we dont know what restrictions he was working under and the way he was treated after winning the GF and then been asked to take a pay cut was pretty bad imo. I hope he gets back in to coaching at this level because nobody can deny we played probably the most attractive rugby in this league and with a bit of hard work i think he can be a real asset to another club.

His start to this season was terrible and it only turned the corner when Brian Noble came to assist and consult, Perhaps it gave Matt the kick up the Arse that he needed and the defense for us then turned a corner.
Perhaps he rested on his laurels a little too much and expected too many wins due to the Calibre of players he had. All this said and done it must be noted that he has taken this Side from going nowhere to going places and got us recognised for our flair and expasnsive game, We have been on T.V this year about 8 or 9 times so far, More than any other Championship club, thus giving us the oppurtunity to attract more sponsors and get the name out their more. All in all i think Matt achieved great things but lets not forget that Martin Hall was heavily involved in the first couple of seasons and HE attracted the right players. ( Maloney, Branno, Nash )
