I see that the dopey rovers fan from Oz is suggesting that rovers should play some games at the KC if they are promoted, also stating that average crowds will be 6-7000, with many more turning up for games against the bigger teams.
Without wanting to rain on your parade, there is no chance whatsoever that rovers would average anywhere near 7000 if they were promoted (If we discount a potential "home" game against Hull at the KC), and would, IMO, struggle to reach 5000 over the season, discounting derby games. We heard similar claims from leigh fans last year and their crowds have been pitiful, particularly given their proximity to 1/2 of SL and the benefits that brings with travelling fans.
In the time since Hull have been at the KC, the biggest travelling support has been less than 2500, and that for a top of the table clash with Bradord. I'd be very surprised if any team brought more than 1500, with most at 500 or less, particularly given the less than favourable facilities for away fans.
So what are your thoughts?

How can you compare us to Leigh We averaged 2200 last year after a mediocre season. Leigh had a cracking season but averaged 1900.
Doesn't that say something about Leighs support?
I'd be happy with an average of 5-6000k

My thoughts are that there are plenty of people who have given up on the club with it being overshadowed by the better team, but they would return with the prospect of Super League games (see? You're not the only glory hunter in Hull) and that HKR could well get around 6000 gates should they be able to compete for survival rather than Leigh (they have got a better chance I might add).
So Hull Superleague Ltd win the Challenge Cup Semi Final and their very next home game rakes in a massive 8000!!!! This in a stadium that has a 25k capacity. There's no wonder that there was no atmosphere in the KC. Why do Hull Superleague Ltd fans worry about the attandance at Rovers?
Good points made to be fair, I think realistically we will be getting between 5 and 6 thousand for our "big" games ( Bradford, Leeds, Wigan etc) and between 4 and 5 thousand for the games against the likes of Salford, UTC etc.
Would love to see a see a sell out at the KC for our derby games also, and it would be a sell out at craven park also.

Because they know its the only way they'll break the 20,000 barrier by playing us in a competitive game
*cough* bradford last year.
Care to comment on your statement that KR would get a bigger gate than FC last sunday, bearing in mind the gate we got has already been descibed by many as "poor" and it was still 60% higher than yours.
