Still think it's a big error to use our last quota spot for this year and potentially next on a prop, even now we have 5 fit props and a couple of back ups, but only one fit backrower and centre.

I think the difficulty is that because of the injury situation that's already mounted up, the club now doesn't have much of a choice. They have to recruit despite wanting to hold their nerve until later in the season. And given that we are only two games in, options aren't necessarily there as to who is available and we're still in a similar position to where we were last year in terms of attracting players. The club has done a great job of changing perceptions off the field IMO that will hopefully encourage people to sign for us but we've still got work to do on the field. The Catalans result was a great advertisement for us moving forward but the Wigan result was obviously a setback.
So signings aren't going to be ideal or necessarily better quality than we already have. We may find ourselves still taking risks on injury statuses and having to dish out some long term contracts that we ideally wouldn't want to be doing. But if it's the difference between getting some bodies in or not, we've got to do it.
Given that injuries are already mounting up, do the club still need to be addressing further changes behind the scenes?

Just seen that Holmes is having a knee clear out so hopefully we can get someone in quickly.
I like the Royle option I must admit, I mean yeah obviously we would want a hard hitting, tackle busting 2nd rower (Willie Manu syle) but very few and far between of those so yeah Royle or Livett for me good options. Johnson doesn't interest me at all. Centre wise do you think we could make a play even just short term for either Connor Wrench or Zak Eckersley?

Wrench is injured and Eckersley is right on the fringe of first team, do doubt they let him go.
I'd bring in Eseh on loan, short term deal fir Livitt or Royle and an overseas centre.
Possible look at Perham we looked at him before, hadn't made the Broncos top 30, can play any position in the backs and has real speed about him.
