Great news for both Barron and the Club. As has been said he’s had a difficult baptism like most of the young lads that broke through over the last couple of years but has shown great resilience and the willingness to work hard to improve.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
Admittedly I don't really know what I'm looking at but it this doesn't look good for the Salford takeover.
Jacobsen group look to have pulled out of the deal?
Don’t think anyone knows what’s going on regarding Salford, is the Jacobsen group the original holding company, thus allowing new owners to register their new holdings.
Hope Salford can resolve with the RFL and avoid another terrible situation like last week.

I’m not an expert on these things maybe it’s completely normal but for me it always looked a bit dodgy having a Swiss banker with no media footprint as the frontman of the consortium, i’d have felt dodgy about it if it was us. Now they’re saying it’s friends of Kristnan Inu who’ve bought the club?
I suppose it does say that though that the request was tabled on the 11th (last Tuesday) and they were still pretty adamant all through the weekend that it was all done and dusted so maybe it’s not as bad as it looks and possibly just a reshuffle of shareholders or whatever. I don’t believe it’s the just the normal RFL incompetence that’s holding this up though something can’t be fully right with it all.

I'd say given the way Salford have willfully acted since announcing this issue almost as soon as the IMG grades were confirmed and released that the RFL for all their faults (of which I am critical) in this instance are correct in maintaining their stance until Salford have met all the steps required for the good of the game.
It might just be me being cynical now I've passed 50yrs old but not a lot adds up for me with the Salford takeover and I wonder if its just more delaying tactics.
