Dire performance pack out muscled again and Frswley not good enough in such a key position

Frawley was by no means the worst offender. Ackers also in a key position and absolutely dire; ditto Connor. Croft showed some glimpses but no consistency, as ever.

Absolutely braindead in attack ackers and fraudley should be binned off if Arthur sticks to his talk of responsibility and performance. ECW needs to get over his jetlag quickly cos Handley will be targeted all season based on that effort. Connor to 7 when miller gets back

Handley back to the wing, SOS to the Momster. He was never that bad defensively.

I understand people hate Frawley but he was our second best spine player after Croft today. Not that this is saying much on the performance we've just been subjected to.

Gannon's showing was a positive. He seemed like one of the few forwards capable of breaking the line.

Honestly think thats our lot for the season, once again all preseason just more talk cannot deliver. This side is dire and is no where near good enough snd never will be. Be a long season to finish 7-8th again

A backline reshuffle with Miller and the new guy coming in, and Jenkins and Jarrod in the pack, could make a big difference. The worrying thing is that we should have had enough in the squad to beat the promoted side in game 1, assuming we have any ambitions to improve on last season.

Jenkins was deemed to be 5th choice prop I'm not sure how that changes much but mik won't be playing next week

Wakefield were solid and showed they’d be ok this year.

Our defensive structure on both edges was badly undone in the first half . Handley had a steep learning curve but the other edge was just as guilty. I thought Frawley and Ackers were particularly bad, and for me Gannon has to start over Bentley based on that showing. Ditto O’Connor if fit for Ackers.

I’d also think about putting hall back on the left now Sivo is gone
