It’s a 21 man squad. Be interesting to see who starts the 17.

I was speaking to Tommy last week at the gym. I’m sure he said he wouldn’t be back for a couple of week.

Whoever it is is included in the 21, been told this morning, I assume Max but not 100%

If it is Max, I understand why he’s listed in the 21 as he’s pivotal in our spine and a lot more difficult to prepare for than a front rower. We will find out sure enough come Saturday. We have Rourke who is a very capable replacement

Would like to see: Jowitt Walmsley Pratt Hall Johnstone Trueman Lino McMeeken Hood Rodwell Storton Vagana Pitts Doyle Uele Atoni Croft If it is Max, then straight swap for Rourke. If Rodwell, then move Atoni to start and put Faatili on the bench. I’d still be confident with either of those changes.

Powell mentions in his pre match presser with JD from bbc radio leeds, that Rodwell has trained today, after being asked about him potentially being out....

If we were light in the pack it would be odd to leave out Shaw.

How come? For me seems a shoot out between Shaw and Faatili, and I’d rather see Faatili spell. Also think Croft can spell with Vagana if needed (just returning from injury and tired easily last year), and cover if we need to reshuffle our back line. With Atoni out, I’d like to see: Jowitt Walmsley Pratt Hall Johnstone Trueman Lino McMeeken Hood Rodwell Storton Vagana Pitts Doyle (Russell if not fit) Uele Faatili Croft
