Great, let’s hope the works are all done for KR. Be terrible to lose multiple tens of thousands and for the ground to be half empty and unfinished on our return debut in SL on Sky. I expected a little bit of fireworks and event like the grand final feel (I think Leigh did similar). It will hopefully showcase the club in a new positive light.

I got told today that fireworks and flame throwers are definitely being planned for the KR game but when someone suggested hiring-in the flame thrower machines, Matt said "Just go buy some"....Oh how times have changed

There still looks to be quite a bit of concreting to do in that North end and with only 12 days to go to the KR game, it looks like they have their work cut-out to get it completed in time

According to my concrete mate in the trade, it shouldn't be a problem to get in done...

I also got told today that the eventual plan for the North stand is to obviously develop the currently un-used land at the rear but then to raise the current roof considerably at the rear so that it slopes the opposite way to what it does now, ie highest at the back and lowest at the front

You'd be surprised what can be built in a week, and here its pouring concrete so no super structure to construct. Not heard anything anything re the terracing in front of the hospitality blocks other than the initial contract award.

There was a mini excavator parked in the South East corner today so it looks like they are on with that too
