Completely makes sense.
RFL had the right idea with matching like this but wrong venues. All should be hosted at SL club which should inject much needed thousands into the amateur clubs.
Hopefully plenty of Trinity fans and Goole fans turn out.

I don't get this decision. I think they've missed a great opportunity to sell the game to the town with a real possibility to get a 3k sell out, I'm not really sure what the crowd at BV will be but for reference we only just topped 2K against Hunslet at home in last years CC.
I think there will be more at BV than would travel to Goole and maybe we've agreed to contribute/pay for the Goole fans to travel over ?? On a purely personal note, this suits me better as I'm working 'til 1pm and it would have been a mad rush to get to Goole for 3pm

Agree with this. They could have showcased themselves to their town, and tried to build off it. They have missed a massive chance to promote themselves early in their existence for me.
Disappointed, I was looking forward to visiting a new club and venue. I too think Goole have made an error they should be marketing the game to the locals that they are at home to the famous Wakefield Trinity and making a big deal out of it. I suspect it's purely a financial decision.

If that genuinely is the case, and the ground would have a very limited capacity due to redevelopment work - then fair enough. But if it's just to try and get a bit more money, then that's a bit short-sighted. A big home crowd at Goole, would really have set the new club up well, as got the town's folk inspired.
