Speaking to one of the lads from the elite talent squad last night and he was saying Ashworth has been outstanding in pre season. One of the fittest in the squad.
Just hope he can stay injury free as no doubting his quality.

I'm liking that there seems to be competition about training performance in the squad. Last year it just seemed one big laugh about and don't get me going again on overseas jollys being booked before the season has ended...

Agree on Ashworth, I do think he'll prove to have a been a great signing especially not playing with injuries and lack of proper rehab before taking to the field again. Feel there'll be a few players that surprise us under the new Coach.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Only Holmes and Aydin missing. Would imagine we'll go full strength for the first 40 before chopping and changing in the second half. We should more than match them first 40 and will be interesting to see how the young lads go in the second half.
