Awful for the lad and can't help but feel devastated for him.
Fantastic that he's so determined to get back on the pitch and also great news about the club and players rallying around for him. wish him all the best in his recovery.

Grix ran almost all the season and didn’t have the notion to increase fitness mid season, which can be done !
He also was responsible for the worst rugby ever served up by FC in 150 years
Anyone else a bit tired of reading the DT articles in Mail about how pre season is different It’s as if he has a template but a different player every 2-3 days
I’d like to hear more from Carty and Last and Thirkill
This pre season needs to be about the basics of rugby Pass catch kick effort discipline !!!!!
Stop the 6 agains Find touch but more than just 15m gain Stop penalties Stop knocking on Don’t kick dead Complete at 80%+ for the match and 90% in the first half as a minimum
Sort the above out and you have a top 4 side without trying any harder

The more you read and find out about last year's pre season and training, the more amazed I am that Grix is still here
To be honest its more amazing that we actually won any games with training consisting of a whole 3 or 4 hours a day. Although we already knew that training was very lax with little to no structure in place and certainly no accountability in any aspect, it's still astounding to hear our thoughts about the previous set up confirmed.
And whilst Smith and his henchman paid the price quite rightly with the sack, why on earth didn't Grix make the changes to have them in for training full time........
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

In terms of talent and depth, there is no way the Hull FC squad of 2024 should have won only 3 games. If was pretty poor, but I thought it’d win something like 6-12 games, most likely somewhere in the middle of that range. There was clearly something else as well.
Tbh, for all that the squad has been completely changed, most of the inevitable improvement in 2025 will, I strongly suspect, come from better fitness and training around the ruck, rather than a massive uplift in talent.

Looks like Sneyd could be signing for Leigh. Sat on the fence regards Sneyd. Certainly would improve us but rumoured 3 year deal for Leigh which I wouldn't be happy with. Wouldn't be devastated if he signed for them. Hopefully we can get Cross over the line soon. Would certainly add a bit of pace to the centres. Then fingers crossed another signing to add. We could finish up with a backline Moy Barron Rapana Cross Martin Now that's a pacey young backline
