No idea if its true but someone told me today that abdul only got a minimal payout as he hadn't met the terms of his contract due to not meeting fitness goals. Could be bs

We may never know as likely they'll have made him sign some sort of non disclosure. Got to remember that while he was a marquee it was for salary cap exemption purposes, it doesn't mean he was on a massive sum and our owners have a much bigger budget than what we've ever had.

When will we hear about new signings from Salford ?
The longer it goes on the better I assume as we’re not rushing

I can't imagine there me many players wanting to leave Hull for Salford, maybe on.loan. Salford arent allowed to even registered new players.

Salford went to Portugal last Friday, so I’d assume they’ll have had a week booked, returning today, it’s a guess as there’s been 0 media coverage from the Salford media team (make of that what you will)

So I’d say when Monday comes articles/club statements will start being produced about most players and a lot of movement will follow

I really don’t think their allowed any sort of player coming in due to the registration block, there’s a lot more to this story than Salford have given the press so far, the RFL have clearly spotted something very wrong and have come down hard, they’ll have to bump up reserve/academy for this year, I can’t see any players from clubs wanting to go there

Your not wrong , Not sure on the payout but the knee was only part of the problem .

Byrne signing for Warrington in 2026 is a major problem for us. We’re in dire need of domestic props. oledzki & Bryne both have their clubs sorted.

Only other decent options are Knowles & Lees who are both unrealistic targets

His contract expires at the end of this season so I would guess there's no need for a multi year deal. Hasn't got the pace of Cross but he's a far better player and we were interested last season.
