Yeah, I know it's only a friendly and most of the team named won't be starting the regular SL season a few weeks later but I still really look forward to these games after a drought of a couple of months to see the progress of young players and see what new players may ( or may not) bring to the table. Is Holroyd injured ?

It may indicate he's currently ahead of Russell and is an insurance option in case Fitzgibbon isn't ready - I'd expect him to play against Leigh.

I think Holroyd could well be in the first choice 17 anyway. There is sometimes a back rower on the bench.

Yeah it's more than likely an open bench for this one. I think Holroyd is brilliant and i hope he gets more game time this year, he's aggressive, passionate, puts 100% in, and will physically develop over time. Definately one of our new long term batch of the future, like our Golden era squad is emerging
