As I've said several times they should have come clean at the end of last season but they have pulled the wool over everyone's eyes hoping for a miracle without being realistic about their situation. I can't now see em surviving myself and if they do it will be a poor team that they can field. Having to raise £800,000 from either transfer fees or saved wages leaves them crippled.
However, had they been honest and thrown themselves on the mercy of the other clubs they could have gone down with a sort of parachute whip round and we could have got Toulouse or Bradford into Super League with time to build a team of sorts. Now it's apparent that the other clubs have little sympathy for their demise and are exacting some tough justice. As I say their poor fans what a disaster. It does however beg the question who will be next?

forget Sneyd, was always a long shot him moving his family back over to Hull/Brough.....i feel we got the best out of him in those two challenge cup wins, be unfair to put pressure on him to try and replicate that again.

Re Salford - there's a strong possibility they'll be relegated if they finish bottom this year. Will mean they'll lose enough IMG points to be overtaken by one of Toulouse or Bradford (possibly whoever wins the Championship).

Be under no illusion we are still short of a Top Class centre and it will show this season and next until we rectify this
We are short of pace and strength at Centre yet it’s a critical position in the team
Cross will have to do I suppose
Prop is also another position we are light and need one more dynamic player and hopefully Sao Lane Fash can move on somehow next season so we can replenish properly there in the front row and wherever Lane plays
And yep we need a 6 for this season as well
I don’t like Sneyd signing for us It’s clear we need PACE in our backs and we can’t have slow centres and slow half backs
We are in a rebuild but Salfords sorry woes give us a small window to address 1-2 positional issues a season early

I’d have loved us to sign a more dynamic 6 but we were in for Lam, Sailor and Sullivan. Sailor I think will tear up SL and was hoping knowing Cartwright might have swung it, but for the player Saints is a no brainer at the minute. Hopefully something becomes available mid season, situations change fast.
Looking at the squad numbers 1-17 I agree we lack pace in the backline. But again, things change throughout a season and a backline of 1 Moy, 2 Barron, 3 Rapana, 4 Cross, 5 Martin becomes one of if not the fastest in the league, hearing good things about Moy in pre season and the clubs social media seem to be keen on posting him, think Cartwright is planning to use him that could re shape the backline and adds some pace straight away.
