I would have been happy with Sneyd for a year but no more than that and I guess he'd be unwilling to move across country for a matter of months.

Lets see how we get on with Cust and Sezer and hope we are lucky with their fitness.

Cust has proven to be quite an important signing for us in hindsight.

Must be an incredible new stadium deal, just how much are they planning to make off Bar sales with their low crowds?

Big failure from IMG, the franchise system was an opportunity to demote them, all the players contracts would be null and void and likely a lot of the diehard support would have kept going in the Championship. Toulouse or Bradford could have had their turn in the SL sun instead.

The big question is how have Salford been able to get away with such a very poor business plan in spending what they simply haven’t got or been guaranteed with the so called IMG & RFL scrutiny and auditing.

Unless they get a serious takeover they are screwed. Feel bad for the players, staff and fans as their club have dropped them and buried them in a huge hole.

Serious questions need to be asked about the governing body & IMG and their inability to do auditing. If they’d been audited thoroughly and correctly then they should have been removed from SL end of last season & replaced, this isn’t something that’s just happened over night.

Really is worrying times for the game in this country when it’s run by amateurs.

Toulouse missed out on super league by 0.38 points, they must be really annoyed after seeing what's happened with Salford. The fact Img didn't spot this puts into question their whole methodology of sustainability/how to grow the sport too
