Salford are losing money hand over fist and that`s after getting probably more money than most on player sales these last 2 years. If they sell even more of their top players Sneyd, Cross, Watkins to name 3. Then their chances of winning games will diminish even further and as a result will lose their fanbase and revenue. It`s like a slow death unfortunately. I would love Sneyd at Leeds but doubt we will fork out the transfer fee or be able to offload Frawley.

He would solve a major problem in our team - our kicking game ( Frawley ) is terrible. He has no distance and cant find the ground - it is a massive weakness - compare him to Smith at Wigan. The kicking game is more important in the current game more than ever before . As Salford will need players in to replace those leaving , we could use Frawley as part of the deal. This move , if successful , would give us great chance of competing for the top 4.
Syned and Frawley will probably be on similar money so not sure what Salford would gain other than a fee for Syned which won't be high considering his age .

Bringing Watkins back makes absolute sense, he’s been great in the second row and also is a good goal kicker. When you think about it we’ve only got McDonnell, Bentley and then it’s Gannon, Littlewood.

If we go for anyone it will be Watkins IMO.
I agree. We currently bat deep at half back (Croft, Frawley, Connor, Sinfield) but we're light in the 2nd row, which is a far more attritional position. Watkins makes more sense, and if anybody is well positioned to strike a deal it would be Blease.

This was something Matt Shaw came up with in a largely nonsensical article. The pre-season training trip will have been booked and paid for a long time ago.
Let all the doubters keep doubting and those who believe keep believing.
