I wouldn't rush into anything anyway. If running with Cust and Sezer in the halves means that Balmforth gets more time at 9 then that's a positive as I'd be more worried about losing him than Abdull. I think Bourouh/Balmforth from 9 will be more dynamic and creative than Bourouh/Cust. We have Charles as back up in the halves and then Kemp after that. Money saved on Abdul I would prefer to go into a centre and another forward. I would take Sneyd for maybe just 1 year since he's 34 next month. He would be great to have around Charles and Kemp. But he isn't going to move back over for 1 year deal, unless we can promise him a coaching role after that. The next couple of years aren't about winning anything. Wouldn't want to see us rush into a panic signing when and tie up cap space on a 3 year deal or something.

Salford will be keeping an eye on this, the only way sneyd moves is with a big fee and with what’s just happened I wouldn’t be shocked if you went all in for him

I had heard that Abdull has only done 1 'field' session since he started with us - that was before all the stuff about a knee clear out. Good to see that what the owners have told Carty and Lasty about getting players out if we need to is true

Why is the only way Sneyd moves with a big fee? Salford need to cut 700k from their wages, you can't command big fees if you're desperate to sell

With Abdul gone that not only frees up a load of cash but also a marquee spot too. Now need another half for deffo as Charles showed last season he's not ready yet by a long way - wouldn't go for Sneyd. This could really work out really well for the club

I'd be going for Will Pryce, think him as a runner would work with Seizer
Someone mentioned Kade Dykes a few pages back as someone who wouldn't count as quota. He's more of a full back but has played 6. Has a history of knee issues too just like his dad....
