What I would say is that I've been a vociferous critic of the football club owner over his ownership of the football club. And similarly over the years with those running fax. They are two separate entities...owners and clubs. At least I'm consistent, regardless of which club it is which should count for something. I want two successful club in a stable and thriving setting, and that's what this boils down to for me.
You have an agenda. The working group has been nothing but positive and ambitious in relation to the two clubs. There is no agenda other than wanting what's best for both clubs so they can focus on on field matters.
But I'll leave it there. Some people won't be won over...some people don't want to be won over. I'm fully committed to what we want to achieve, and as a group it's nothing but the best intentions. But I certainly won't be concerned about people chucking mud.
Whats the agenda? I'm not chucking mud im pointing out that the members of the working group have been chucking mud at the rugby club on a public forum for years and therefore should remove themselves from the group. Its pretty simple really.

Why have they been chucking mud? Whilst not here to defend hoddie, I'd also say he's been very critical about the fcht owner. So the rest of my post stands. He's not anti rugby...he's anti how the club has been run. But is very pro halifax.
Maybe you should get involved with our group...serious offer. I've no idea who you are...what your experience is...but sometimes having your worst critics involved is actually a positive step for the wider goal. More than happy to meet for a pint if you want to raise your head above the parapet. And again, I'm being genuine.

I agree with a lot that you have said previously but I totally disagree with this. Hoddie most definatley is anti-rugby and anti-Fax. He should be nowhere near any working group that has the interests of both teams at its heart.

I drank in there from around 1996 to now, so I must know you.

He's not. You don't know him. You just don't like how he asks you to provide fact rather than bluster

To quote him - "I wake up every day and hope to read the news about Fax going to the wall. I doubt there'd even be enough interest to phoenix it.
Squatters out."
There are a hell of a lot of posts on that forum that are very similar by him. I do find it funny when he is provided with an option that backs up everything that I have said and suddenly he moves the goal posts. Says a lot about him as a person and again from a fax point of view, he should be nowhere near anything that is working for the best interests of both clubs. He could ruin something that has the potentital to be a good idea as no Fax fan is going to support it when they know what he has been saying about our club.

On the flip side, is he worse for the future of the stadium or either club than any director who has led, for example fax into the current financial predicament they find themselves in?
