Also Tom Burgess has only been at Huddersfield for about a month. For him to have decided he was going to switch to Wire if Vaughan didn't come back, he would have had to have decided he hated Huddersfield within about an hour of having arrived. Which, if it is the case, points to him being a pretty fickle character who doesn't do his due diligence.

The least believable thing (of which there are many) is Huddersfield paying Livett £100k. I know Davy is getting on a bit but he’s not completely senile AFAIK.

'Am I being serious?' I wouldn't have posted it if I wasn't serious.
Is it not fair to say Burgess overachieved last year and got the best out of the squad? Did you expect to finish 3rd at the start of last season? Not a chance you did.

“are you being serious” is not questioning your sanity. I was questioning whether you were on a wind up. There is a huge difference. I wasn’t expecting a 3rd place finish based on the season before under Powell, on the other hand I wasn’t expecting such a disastrous season under Powell given what I thought was a decent squad. I think labelling the majority of the squad as 6/10 was extremely harsh, compounded by your very damning view of Dufty which I personally think is unsustainable. But. that is my opinion.
Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

Fitzgibbon was working hard back in training today, according to a report in the Warrington Guardian. Good of him to make the effort, given that he has apparently packed in!!
Nice listen on the wire in Bondi podcast witb Musgrove, seems a really nice guy. Nice to here that he loves Warrington, loves the club and fans, his family are settled and happy, and his heart is with us and he wants to stay here. Refreshing change rather than the usual "i'm not sure, we'll see what happens" response you hear alot. I'm looking forward to next year, a fully fit Fitz back in the team is a big bonus, get big Dan Russell firing and up to speed could be a good addition on the right. Despite what we saw for PNG i'm giving him the benefit of the doubt until he has 2-3 games under his belt for us. I'm optimistic about our forward pack, we're not massive but we're not small pushovers either, Thomas and Okoro could still impress on top of who we already have, and Leon Hayes And Leyland fighting for a spot in the halves i think is good for us.
