In regards to Wynne, all I'll say is that if we were to be looking at signing him then I'd be a little concerned about developing youth as he would only be a stop gap signing and wouldn't be likely to offer anything above that of an academy player.
Currently we are in need of another front rower and a centre but actually have faith the club have a handle on this after so many poor recruitment cycles previously since 2018.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Agree with chris. Wynne has undoubted talent but has his attitude changed. We’ve got young hungry kids coming through that deserve a chance. Think it also highlights kr issues too. Recruiting wynne and kershaw and not promoting from within. It’s just not a sustainable model.

Their academy production line is an absolute joke compared with everyone else aside from Leigh (who have only just gained an academy license, which isn't their fault).
The fact IMG seemingly don't care about youth development either shows where the game is at. If more clubs brought through their youth we'd all have a bigger player pool which would lead to more teams in super league and the end of stupid loop fixtures.

we're two years in to the new road-map mate, we didnt give the acdemy a look in pre BOD, it takes time and picking up those sort of players allows depth, especially with the new rules about limited playing time, agreed it isnt a sustainable model and thats why its being addressed so much within the club

Surely you'd be better off giving Gorman a chance over someone like Wynne or Kershaw if you were that serious?

my honest opinion is that the crop we have at the moment just arent good enough to be competing for a spot in a top 4/2 squad at the moment, the stakes are high, they would really have to be special to get in the current team, wynne had something at FC but his tantrums masked that, hes 23 local lad and wont make any dent in the cap, as is jack brown
i want to see the academy thrive more than anybody, trust me , with the 3G, new coaching staff, money injection into it, we'll hopefully to see it bear fruits later on, our scholars beat every team last year so thats a start and hopefully the next good batch

I see your point, but there's no way the likes of Kershaw and Wynne are top players, not convinced either are good enough for SL.

apart from Salford, it looks like all the other 11 sl clubs are financially stable and don't need to sell players unless a club offers stupid money, going to be difficult to recruit british born players if clubs dont need to sell anymore.
