There is little news about how pre season is going and I get that. We would only be told it is the best pre-season ever! However, do we know who has turned up? Has the whole squad arrived and been in pre-season from day 1 or are we still in the business of letting overseas players have a holiday and turn up when it suits them like last year.
It looks like all players are back now and most have been so for a couple of weeks. Lisone was the one surprisingly who seemed to get a bit longer pre-season rather than say Croft / Miller.

I'd rather have a few stories / updates every few weeks than the identikit / cut and paste "players name here" tripe were usually served daily.
As above, this team needs an extremely good professional preseason, no gimmicks, no nonsense. If that means we don't have any chat coming out then good, shows Weve finally learned something about practising what we preach.

It was encouraging to hear in Palasia's interview with WYS that the team is the fittest he's played in. How true that is remains to be seen, but at least he's not gone from Broncos GF team (via GCT) to expecting and easy ride here.
One thing I do want to hear more than player interviews is one with BA. Not heard site nor sound from him since the season ended. I do have a suspicion that part of his deal is the Blease does most of the interviews, but like others I am intruiged to hear how pre-season is going.

I quite enjoyed seeing the Leeds United players training video and working out in the gym. It does show a togerthness in the squad and would be happy to see something similar from Leeds Rhinos every now and then. But at the end of the day we got bombarded with it last season and the team on the pitch looked like they had never set eyes on each other so I get it can be misleading.
I have to say I'm really looking forward to seeing the impact that Arthur's had on the group when the season kicks off. Last few years the preseason seems to have been an afterthoughts, none of the preseason fixtures seem to have been utilised for any real purpose at all. From the second Arthur brought them all in once the season was done and made it clear they were in for a tough preseason I've been feeling pretty optimistic about our preparations for the new season. Really hope we can hit the ground with a bit of momentum this year and look like we're actually ready for the season to start
