The front of the studio/gantry is proposed to be almost level with the pitch perimeter. It means that the camera would be looking down at a terrible angle.
The drawings show this clearly.
I'm sure we had to have previous gantry drawings signed off by Sky, so maybe they have/haven't seen these plans.

It'll be similar to Headingley before the south stand reconstruction. Effectively it will be looking down on the wing but not a disaster. I don't think this is the permanent solution given all the talk over the designs for the West Stand, merely doing something now to make that stand more comfortable for spectators for the short term
