Yes I would agree. Unlikely to be a SL title winning squad but we should be competitive and enjoyable to watch. Sam will have his work cut out if he wants to win the big one in his remaining time with us.

I generally agree with comments made and think that whilst we might not have gone backwards as such, we look like a squad that is going to be reliant on people maintaining form with youth/fringe players pushing on just to stand still.
Have I missed something, but wasn't there supposed to be a WOW signing that got us all excited before the cold grip of winter reality set in?

Agreed, and as the only reliable source is Abe, and he is currently AWOL, i’ve decided to accept our business is done. The using of a quota spot on Russell still baffles me but hopefully there is method in the madness.
Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

That was Abe I believe and was not till after the event he revealed we had spoken to Cleary. Think that’s what it was.

They were talking about Cleary before we signed Rusell, we're full up with Quata spots now.

Yes I realise that. Just that Cleary would have cost a lot of money so we must have had significant cap space to even entertain the thought of signing him.
