I think the only advantage his name would give him is access to a trial. After that, he's on his own and any offer of a place would be down to his aptitude and potential. I doubt there's much room for sentiment in RL team budgets.

Don’t see personally how hr becomes a regular SL player but a move may freshen him up and see him kick on.

Very vocal lad on and off the field not always in a positive way. Big influencer around his peer group and maybe a fresh start in a new environment will give him a bit of grounding.

Lets just say there were a few off field issues with one in particular involving a minibus
