He did very well to come back when he broke his hip/pelvis that time as it is a serious injury to any player, yet alone one getting towards the end of their careers. So if he does go then fair play to him for keeping going if he did want to stop.
The special measures thing would make sense with their been an advance etc. It isn't unusual, however would be nice to here it from the club and not that fat idiot who became a journalist after following a scheme where you collect 5 crisp packets and send them off for a badge. But he's wrong more than he is right so who knows
I've made my feelings clear on FB on mick and he's now blocked me on twitter but the club should hold some responsibility by firstly not communicating effectively and someone is obviously back feeding him information, the information i got regarding special measures came from one someone connected to the club and not five bellies gledhill.

Correct, but not to worry. It looks like we're going to have a 'wonderful relationship' with Warrington next anyway!

It could be the same person.
Player agents will know as well which is pretty hard to stop. With Gledhill been close to a certan one, that is a good place to start.

The lack of transparency is only fuelling this current despair. Larroyer gone. No idea what they sold to Eastmond but if the current squad have been told to test the market then its not looking promising. Expect Warrington's U21 team for next year. Extremely worrying times.
If some Warrington u21s join us on loan I hope most of them turn out as good as Salty has been. Then sign permanent contracts and stay with Fax for ten years.
Well done to Salty on being granted a well deserved testimonial.
My issue is this , it's my understanding that the office staff , roughly 5 people are on 200k per annum and we are getting our information second hand from a Bradford fan .Might as well use that brass on the squad and get mick to blab for free.
The silence is deafening, the only positive news out of the club recently has been Tangata's extension and Kyle Eastmond's appointment. There is clearly some things happening in the background with players moving on. But who knows exactly what? Selling out the early bird season tickets isn't a huge cause for celebration given I think they were capped at 200 (someone may correct me) so not a huge number of tickets shifted.
Rochdale put this statement out, I think it's fair to say we're not in a too dissimilar position,
Statement from Andy Mazey, Rochdale Hornets chairman:
"As a board, we are determined to increase season ticket and membership numbers for 2025, as well as the number of people supporting and engaging with the club generally.
"We have therefore decided to take the unprecedented step of providing regular and transparent updates throughout the closed season.
"At the time of writing, I can report we have 55 platinum and regular season passes sold and allocated in total so far. This figure includes 15 Under 16s passes which are issued free of charge.
"To put this into perspective and in very sobering terms, the income from sales to date does not cover the contractual commitment made to one of our higher-earning players, let alone an entire playing squad."

It doesn't make sense that new signings haven't been announced yet. And the last time I checked the winding up petition was still active despite the club denying all knowledge. It really looks like we'll be heavily reliant on DR next season ...... it "nearly" worked well with Leeds last season, probably the best DR we've had so far, but the whole randomness of the system makes it a mess - we've no idea who's available until the last minute. And what's the latest on the Shay? Why do these things have to take so long? Can't they all sit round a table and sort it out in a day? Why not?
