Great start, welcome Carty !!
Penrith references are heart warming, if you could bottle a percentage of Penrith DNA you would make a fortune. Surely he is the best option to deliver that at this time.
Their conveyer belt of young talent is phenomenal, losing at least 2 starters every year but seamlessly rolling on. Our youngsters have a fantastic opportunity to get on the train, work their socks off, live well & listen to sound advice. Personally I doubt many of them will feature much this year ( barring disastrous injuries ) but 2026 could be big for many of them. We might even produce another international ( been a while ).
Assuming we do improve, to whatever extent, and the investment is confirmed we will surely be on the front foot for recruitment & be much more attractive to players for 2026.

Yep good words.
One thing is he is totally right about the quota players, we have had value for years, last year was the worst of the lot, on paper looks vastly superior to last season.

Should be way more…Cas have just signed the world class hooker Rimbu and Wales have a far superior squad to ours…all according to some on here. Also the awesome Kershaw has just signed for Man City rovers so Peggy will be beside himself.

Think his community reference is to Penrith not Paramatta who are actually bitter derby rivals in the western Sydney area. Cartwright's nephew Bryce currently plays for Parra having started his career like his uncle at Penrith as did Jed Cartwright.
I was a season ticket holder at Penrith from 2000 to 2023 before moving to the NSW North coast.

No matter how extensively i try and square this IMG malarkey in my head the further and further i fail to do so.
Last season 3 of our Academy players played more than 14 games and numerous others were presented with an opportunity to take their academy development and put it out there in the professional arena. To me, highlighting, to the most extreme, that youth/academy is one of the most sustainable elements to a fickle and troubled sport.
But you get more licence points for having the requisite number of pixels on you screen.

You've put him ignore, but keep referencing him.
Perhaps you should admit you are in love with him, but the love is unrequited?
