I’ve just watched the full video of Sunday’s game and noticed something that I didn’t at the game.
If you look closely at the ground floor of the South End boxes immediately behind the goal posts, there seems to be a structure attached to the front of the stand, Has anyone else noticed this or know what it is?

I've heard that the whole pitch has been ripped up.....so we can install under-soil heating :thumb: :thumb:

I think the work on the pitch is top dressing to help drainage plus what use is under soil heating in Summer.

Just being relayed/seeded. Will probably happen every couple of years

Wonder if the sponsorship has offset some of the cost for the LED boards?

If it’s the company who we purchased the boards from then yes. Any amount of investment from them would be an offset of the cost paid.

I can’t wait to see the LED boards up and what upgrades will be in place for start of the season.

The south stand terracing could really offer something unique to SL if it can be linked to the ground floor of the boxes and made open plan for a social area, tvs, refreshments, music etc. it could be like another hospitality area that seats hundreds out of match day and during match day it could cater for hundreds.
