I think releasing Sangare and not replacing him is asking for trouble. We need to be consistently fielding a large front row each week and if Holroyd's availability is as per normal, then this will be very difficult.
Blease delivering the squad turnover at a faster rate than we could reasonably have expected. Other than Martin hard to disagree with all the departing players. If Mom goes as expected and Sivo comes in only final piece is if we have any cap left for another forward. Sangare was 6th choice in the props perhaps a big 16 stone plus back row would give us more balance as other than Gannon we lack size in that area!

Well with Sangare , Goudemand, Ruan, Hudson already gone, and Momirovski soon to be announced, it seems that you can actually shift on contracted players if you want to. Blease is doing a great job so far, well done Blaster!
It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

In fairness Smith did much the same. His big mistake was not bringing in better replacements. I know Donaldson and Martin were not released but when you add them it's a lot departures in the pack. I believe we must act to replace Sangare with a better player or be doomed to living with another average bunch of forwards when injuries strike. Hopefully Blease recognises that too.

Yeah, great start so far it has to be said. They were being very clever weren't they saying hardly any movement expected this offseason a few weeks back..
It needed doing, and more work is needed over the next 12 months if we are to get back to title winning contenders but it's a good start. I suspect this season's poor show was the final straw in terms of a lot of patience around the club from the SLT..
Mulhern wouldn’t come back to Leeds to be a bit part player when he’s a very important player where he’s currently at, although I would be very pleased if that were to happen, you are more than likely looking at a Eseh Jr type.

Maybe, maybe not. Most people on here were happy with the last round of Smith signings apart from Frawley.
I am not questioning any of the departures so far aside from Martin, and I appreciate we have to start somewhere. But successful sides are seldom built on wholesale changes like this. If they were, Warrington would be 10x SL champions by now.
My hope is that there is sustained improvement so that making the play-offs is a minimum expectation rather than the focus of the last third of the season. I would also hope that a few younger players are successful in winning first team places during the season - so that less drastic surgery on the squad is needed in a year's time and recruitment can focus on a smaller number of quality acquisitions/replacements.
