I know. Never rated him or Bamford. There you go mentioned him again. Fingers crossed he leaves in Jan with Leeds having to pay 65k a week towards his wages

To be fair to Bamford, he's had a disrupted pre season and has had next to no mins. He can be useful still at this level, we'll need him at some point no doubt but hopefully Joseph and Piroe stay fit all season.
Need to back up from Friday tonight, hopefully it's not ''a day after the lord mayors show' as they say, it's a game we need to win.. can't afford it to be flat after Friday. Watford will no doubt park the bus.
Gone a bit quiet on the free agent signing as well..

Nothing club can do about that mate. He was very useful last year when fit and had some minutes. Farke said the same. He's 3rd choice as it stands and that fine. You won't find many better at this level than Bamford as a squad striker.

Think we should have cashed in on him start of this season. I`m not sure many clubs would want him especially on 70k a week. There`s got to be better strikers around on that sort of money. Woods still scoring in the Premier League I see. But Trebor is right. We are stuck with him so let`s hope he nets at least 10 this season.

Bamford leads the line ten times better than Piroe, that’s why when he got fit last year Piroe was dropped. He may well be 3rd choice this year, and that’s because his finishing over the last couple of injury hit years has been below the standards he set when he got his England cap etc. We suffered at the back end of last season by not having a competent centre forward, Piroe and Rutter were both inadequate when we needed them most and Bamford was again injured. I still think if Farke had been brave enough to give Joseph the necessary minutes throughout the season he could have made a real difference at the back end. That’s all in the past, hopefully we can manage a top two spot without having a crackerjack centre forward if everyone else pitches in with some goals.

It`s time our midfielders started to score goals. When was the last time the likes of Amapadu, Gruev, Rothwell or Tanaka scored taking into account the latter 2 have only started getting picked? Struijk I think has scored more than all of them likewise Firpo. Personally I don`t think Bamford leading the line is in his locker nowadays.

Age and injuries mean you’re probably right. We’ve got away with not having anyone that can do that job properly. Joseph still has potential to grow into a better player to lead the line and hold the ball up.
