I would wait a couple of weeks, you never know who might become available now the season is over

Henderson talks a good game but York didn't look any great shakes when he was in charge.

Agree partially, isn't the flip side of this an increased compensation package for us?
Maybe there was a grown up conversation between the club and EoC to this end?
Appreciate you want to go and we'll support that, however lets get you signed up to protect our asset and maximize a severance package....

Overall they were so good they kicked him upstairs and brought in Applegarth. We shall see.

Isn't exactly an exciting appointment. I dont think he's neccasarily a bad coach just because he struggled at York, think they were reasons for that. But I'd be surprised if we've specifically targeted him one day after EOC leaves. I think we're an attractive job so a much stronger name could be interested. I would have thought we have waited to see who's interests first.

If we are judging every potential coach on the last couple of months of their last gig we might have a pretty short list or a coach who hasn't had the experience to blot their book.
If we had employed Applegarth at the end of 2023 supporters would have been having a meltdown.

Haha you're probably right there.
