Spot on WT, more or less perfect display, great to nil them as well
People have been going on about an 80 minute performance and for me that was it. From minute 1 to minute 80 we were excellent and every single player executed their jobs perfectly. I think our 2 best performaces of the season were in the 2 finals and for me that is a good sign as it shows we turn up when it matters.
I thought Tommy Doyle was absolutely outstanding and my MOM but a speacial mention has to go to Lino who has has plenty of criticism but last night he was fantatstic with the ball and also defensivly.

And the thing is, I don't think Toulouse played badly. They weren't dropping the ball, ran hard and threw it around too.....they just couldn't break us. Outstanding performance

Lino was especially good defensively. They tried to target him but he kept knocking them back

It was an excellent performance, disappointed with the ref again, for the second week in a row he failed to get a grip of the ruck area. The whole team were excellent but Pitts stood out both in attack and defence last night. Brilliant for Max to hit that record especially with the hammering he took early doors. Jerry what a bloke if only he was 21! See what Wednesday brings but all indications are we in for a great future with our number 1 fan and owner Matt Ellis and his family, we must have the best and most enthusiastic owner in Rugby League by a country mile.
What a great night! A great team performance, I thought our forwards were magnificent, they absolutely battered Toulouse with some punishing carries and some brutal defence.

How good was that ? To win any game to nil is superb but, to do it in a Grand Final, against the next best team in the comp is something else. Every player hit 9/10 and some went beyond and the conversion from the touchline by Jerry was a thing of pure beauty. A crowd of over 8000 and pretty much all Trinity fans, was another great effort and the atmosphere was the best we've had in a long, long time.
A very special night for all who were lucky enough to be there.
