Interesting - I wonder who the club is? We've seen off this sort of approach before and the club has really backed him. Suspect that if it's a club over in his neck of the woods then it may be harder to resist - the M62 isn't much fun is it?
I'd rather not lose him but Nobby and Lee Greenwood stood in and did a great job at the back end of 2023 so it wouldn't be a total disaster just a shame to disrupt a squad that's progressing nicely.
"If you start listening to the fans it won't be long before you're sitting with them," - Wayne Bennett.
If it means a player/fee from the team in question id be happy with it from what i gather nobby does majority of coaching and brought the players in anyway

Last thing we need is a change of coach again. Unless he has fallen out with somebody at the club I don't see it, EOC seems pretty committed to the club and players. I think if we miss the cut for SL for 2026 and there are offers flying about it might be a more realistic time for him to consider his options.
Be disappointed if he goes. Done a good job this season. Yes he should have had second and have better discipline and have better game management, but those things are fixable. We have stability and improving every year.
Usually suspects on social media mouthing off because we didn't beat two full time teams. There's not a plethora of outstanding coaches available.
Salford will need a new head coach from 2026 but I don’t think he’d be tempted to go there but his former club Wigan are wanting to replace back room staff and that temptation maybe too much to resist. Hope none of it comes off as I think he talks a lot of sense and has good people skills with the players.
We finished in exactly the same position as last year with a better squad Our Defence improved and that's probably why he got the Saints defence coach job. Our discipline wasn't great all season and EOC didn't seem to think this was an issue in post match interviews.
Positives are that our job is probably one of the most wanted in the Championship.
