Perhaps it is Charles Brown from our 1910-12 campaigns? A little unfair given he scored 2 tries in 22 appearances.

Perhaps he was thinking of Mitch Brown who scored a try against Huddersfield back in 2016 to secure promotion to Superleague.

I thought Mitch was handy player but I could be biased as he said hello after I saw him getting patched up at Leigh infirmary
