It'll really benefit clubs trying to make tge grade for Super League though. Or even just wanting to make their club stronger financially in Championship.
Surely the 6 figure sum applies to this seasons play off final, the date it was announced by the RFL was 3 May 2024. This seasons winners will not know for sure until a week or so after, if they have made the IMG grade to get in Super League for 2025. Winning this years GF does not get you automatic promotion.
