Having said that....Rovers just don't do finals.

Fun over need to concentrate on ourselves. There's a lot of work to do.

10 minutes after the final hooter? I think not.

May is atrocious. What does he do? Throw himself on the floor to try and get a pen

Hasbag wrote:Definitely won't be as easy for them next year. This was the year to win it, with teams like Saints and Catalans been poor. They'll both be very strong teams next year and Warrington will look better after another off season together. Top 4 for them next year will be a tough ask. Capable of it still, but harder to achieve than this year.

Won't get the luck with injuries either.

Can't wait to see Sue's stats, got to be one of the worse spells from a prop in history.

To give rovers a little slack, I thought they played ok, not brilliant but ok, but for 80 minutes they were smothered, bullied and dominated by Wigan's work rate and defence.

Even if French hadn't pulled out his moment of brilliance you get the feeling Wigan would have defended a 3-2 lead until midnight if that was what it took to lift the title. Rovers became increasingly desperate as the game passed the hour mark and they never looked like finding an answer to unlocking the door.

Still, there's always next year as they say!

Since 1985, Since 1985..

I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.

Money doesn't talk it swears, Obscenity who really cares, Propaganda all is phony.

I'm the son and heir of a shyness which is criminally vulgar.

Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way.

Best chance for Dobbins to win a GF. As others have Saints Wires Cats be better. Wigan still around. Plus by then we be up and running ha ha. Dobbins 2 finals bottled both. Commiserations to Moanaire who be sad at his fav team getting beat.

Thank God Winter would have been unbearable after a week of that new rovers guy in the Mail saying it was all but won and some outlandish stuff from some at the Rovers whilst Wigan just kept their council and prepared immaculately, don't know what I enjoyed most Wigans defence or Lewis blubbing on Humberside afterwards!

Peters should ask the coach of the year how to win things……oh hang on.You win 3 trophy’s and don’t get it instead it goes to a midget whose team bottles it in big occasions…since rovers beat Wigan the cup semi…Wigan have won ever trophy available and rovers are still 40 yrs waiting
