The fact that we do not seem to have a club, so perhaps, no dog in the fight.so it may mean nothing to us. Where do people think that London Broncos will be placed, when the gradings are released on 23rd October? Now I think that Broncos will be placed just outside the Super League places. Then it will be said. Nice try, sorry about that. Come back in a few years and try again. It's M62 +one for the future. All pretty academic really, with the uncertain state of our club. I myself am interested in how other clubs handle what they are given. Somewhere along the line there will be some kind of bust up. It will get very ugly, I am sure.
I suppose a lot may depend on what changes are made to thee criteria or how the evidence produced by the clubs is "interpreted". We know, because the owner said so, that Catalan expect to lose points. However that wouldn't appear to put their position as Cat A at risk. There is also a significant gap in the "indicative" grading between Hull in 7th & Salford in 8th, that I would have thought wouldn't be closed.
You might expect Huddersfield to drop some points, Toulouse too as they struggle with sponsors/investment while in the Championship. Leigh have done more than enough to be in the top12 scoring clubs but I don't think Wakefield & Cas have, so 1 or both may miss out. The RFL have done all they can to bump up Bradfarts into the top 12 & may get there by the default of others.
What will be interesting to know is how Wigan, Salford, Huddersfield & London score on stadium as they are all in the same situation & capacity rarely comes into play. If London' catchment area is not changed, should Rhino's be limited to just Metropolitan Leeds?
IMG are quoted as wanting to settle the grading first before looking at the Capital, Women & Wheelchair but that might be a bit late. My view for what it's worth is they should have sorted the structure first, & that has to be a 14 team competition playing 26 games. Get rid of the pathetic very little magic weekend (another marketing failure in Rhino's back yard).

Our indicative grading was 8.07 points (ranked 24th, the last of the Grade B's). Teams who would just miss out on SL had indicative rankings of over 12 points i.e. 4 points better. I don't see us making up that gap.
Fandom - we should pick up points as average home crowd has been >3,000 compared to <1,500 last season (+ 1.25 points), also digital should be up though pretty much a guess as to how much (+0.5 points) Performance - rankings are calculated over 3 seasons so we drop a 6th place finish in Championship and gain a 12th place finish in SL (+ 0.5 points) Finance - the key factor here is non centralised turnover (averaged over 3 seasons), Difficult to assess as accounts do not disclose previous turnover. It should be up though, primarily becuase crowds are up. I suspect could be up by around £0.5m. However, when averaged over 3 years I doubt this gains us any points due to thresholds. Stadium - I don't believe anything has changed in terms of the stadium other than utilisation. Capacity is 9,215. Utilisation is averaged over three years. We will drop the the dismal 2021 home average for this seasons approx 3,000 average (+0.1 points) Community - don't believe anything will change in this scoring
So overall I think we will be looking at a score of around 10.5 points. If all other clubs stayed the same (unlikely) this would move us up 8 places to 16th.
What the rankings are unlikely to reflect is that without funding and in all likelihood a worse ground (if we could somehow continue) our grading should really be taking a nosedive.
Think you are pretty close to the mark Buzz with your scores for us, just not sure what if anything teams 14 to 23 have done to enhance their position. I guess if it becomes Wakie or Cas fighting for that 12th spot, the vitriol will be worse than when it was suggested they merge. Could be fun though from the sidelines. Who knows we may be Hovis by 23rd anyway.

The only thing different to my previous posting, where I thought we might increase to around 10.5 points, is that in today's press release the club highlighted that they announced this year it would take sole responsibility of ‘The London Rugby League Foundation’. I had assumed they would already be getting the 1 point available for this. If they weren't, then maybe that gets us to around 11.5 points.
Does anyone else think it’s really odd that we bust a gut, financed by David Hughes, to get our points score up (except for strengthening playing squad) and then, in essence put the front door keys through the letter box at the 11th hour and walked off. Surely getting the points score up was either part of a long term strategy or an enticement to bring in new owners. Hopefully it will work in terms of the latter.
