You just have to hope Joe Burgess comes a cropper in those tiny in-goal areas whilst chasing back to stop Wigan going 42-0 up at half-time. A bump on his empty noggin might knock the racism out of him.

That is the reason the TV is dwindling year on year, when people don't tune in to games the ratings go down and so does the TV money, I always make a point of putting any game on, even if I dont watch it just to add the the viewing figures

Unfortunately, unless you are one of the 12,000 people to have been recruited by the Broadcasters' Audience Research Board to act as representatives of the overall UK viewing public, then the official viewing figure for a match will not be affected by whether you watch it or not. Official TV viewing figures are based solely on those 12,000 monitored people, with some groovy mathematical formula being used to convert those figures into a national number.

That sounds like one hell of a marathon episode of Gogglebox.

I understand that's the case for conventional DVB-T broadcast, but sky have a viewing panel of 4M users. Do they not use that to estimate viewing figures?

Hull KR every single day of the week, knock them down a peg and wipe the smug look Peet constantly has off his face.......but Wigan will win. Yet another final i won't be watching.

Thought it already looked like that. More depressing is the Grand Final is still in that stadium for next 3 years meaning it’s no nearer to being knocked down.
